Wreath laying ceremony of martyr Abhijeet Nandy held in Srinagar

BSF on Monday bid a tearful adieu to martyr Abhijeet Nandy who was killed in Handwara ceasefire violation. A wreath laying ceremony was held in Srinagar where colleagues paid respect to BSF constable Abhijeet Nandy of 119 battalion. Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control in Nowgam sector of Kupwara district in J and K. The firing, which started on Sunday, continued through the night. Nandy was killed during exchange of fire between the two sides at 3:30pm in Nowgam Sector of Handwara along the Line of Control (LoC).
