Stars' blink-and-miss roles that you probably didn't notice

Bollywood is flooded with talented actors but there are a slew of celebrities who struggled to prove their talent before becoming famous in the industry. Ranging from current B-Town A-listers to newcomers, most at some point in their careers struggled to step-into the glamorous world of movies, and had no option but to accept small obsequious roles to start off with to be noticed. Anushka Sharma's grand debut in 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' helped her attain stardom, but a reflection of her struggling modeling career could be seen in Sanjay Dutt's 'Munna Bhai MBBS'. The chocolate boy of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor, who made his debut in 2003 with the movie 'Ishq-Vishq,' was seen in Subhash Ghai's 'Taal' in 1999, where he can be seen among the dancers behind Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai in a song. Seeing the role of Aamir Khan's wife, Kiran Rao in the movie 'Dil Chahta Hai,' nobody would have thought that she would later become a star Director and producer. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is not a new name for B-town and everybody remembers his small role in Munna Bhai MBBS, but very few people may know that he also played a role in Aamir Khan's 'Sarfarosh' in 1999. So it seems, just as caddies and ball-boys have gone on to become famous sporting idols, blink roles too are an important stepping stone in making movie stars out of fledgling tinsel town wannabes.
