Star cast of 'Piku' promote their movie in Mumbai

Lead actors and director of an upcoming Bollywood comedy, 'Piku', promoted their film at a press conference held in India's entertainment capital Mumbai. Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan spoke about the genre of the film and said that people can enjoy the film with their families. Actor Irrfan Khan, who plays the romantic lead opposite actress Deepika Padukone, spoke candidly on his experience of romancing Padukone on-screen. Director of the film, Shoojit Sircar, spoke on how the idea for the film evolved and the role of writer Juhi Chaturvedi in coming up with the concept. The movie explores the relationship between Piku, played by Padukone, and her father, played by Bachchan. It shows Bachchan suffering from constipation and motions all the time and Padukone trying to 'settle' things for him. The movie is slated for release in India on May 8.
