There has been a lot of speculations around the casting of Aamir Khan's upcoming next DANGAL, which is a biopic on the life of acclaimed wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, where the perfectionist will essay the role of the wrestler. While the media was lately agog with the news that 'Queen' Kangana Ranaut has been approached to play his daughter Geeta Phogat, she reportedly squashed it saying she was never offered the role.

Now, the rumours are rife that Taapsee Pannu has been considered for the role after seeing her sterling performance in Neeraj Pandey's Akshay Kumar starrer BABY.

However, when we contacted the actress to confirm the news, she was all the more amused. She clarified on the same, "I don't know from where it has come. I have no clue about it. There is no truth in this news. I believe it must have been spread around by some fervent well-wishers. Otherwise, it was news for me too."

Nevertheless, Taapsee also showed her interest in the project. "I wish if that could happen. I don't know how to try for the role. But if I get the role, it would be worthy enough," she added further.

After garnering praises from all corners for BABY, Taapsee is going at her own pace. "I take my work very slowly and love to go on my own pace. I don't rush for projects. I wait for the right thing to come instead of getting into the rat race," said the actress.

Meanwhile, she has two movies lined up AGRA KA DAABRA and RUNNING SHADI.COM for this year.
