Rumi Jaffrey, the popular writer of Bollywood, who has penned the dialogues, screenplays and stories of various entertainers, predominantly Salman Khan starrers, is now gearing up for his upcoming film CONTRACT LOVER, which is an Hindi adaptation of a Chinese film.

He says, "When I went to Thailand and watched the film there, it immediately caught my mind. I at once thought of making it into a Hindi feature film."

While his earlier directorial projects - GALI GALI CHOR HAI, LIFE PARTNER and GOD TUSSI GREAT HO starred known faces, for his new film CONTRACT LOVER, he only wants fresh faces.

The happy-go-lucky director shares a good rapport with Salman bhai. When asked, why he didn't think of Bollywood's most sought-after star for his forthcoming venture, he said, "Salman Khan is like a brother. I can anytime ask him and he won't refuse me. But this film demanded new faces. Salman won't be suitable for my film."

While Rumi is working on the script and yet to finalize the star cast, he reveals that the film is set to go the floors by July probably.

The film is being produced by Rajesh Bhatia, the managing director of Woodpecker Movies, which has bought the remake rights of the Chinese film. The executive producer on the film is Rajat Rawail (filmmaker Rahul Rawail's son), who made READY with Salman and acted in BODYGUARD along with the star.
