The beautiful beginning

Rima, who is a dentist by profession, is an ever-smiling, chirpy and a bubbly person. On the other hand, Chintan is an engineer, who is a simple and suave guy. They met through a matrimonial ad in a newspaper. However, they did not feel the spark in their first meeting, and decided not to take the things any further.

But, destiny had some other plans, as they did not like anyone else they met later on. Almost after six months, they decided to meet up again, and there surely was something between the two this time. According to Chintan, it was Rima’s innocence that stole his heart. And, what attracted Rima towards him was his hardworking attitude and self-made personality.

The wedding celebrations begin

Without wasting anymore time, Rima and Chintan took the decision of spending their lives together forever. And, they got married within six months of their engagement. But, they looked like as if they have been in love since ages. They had four-day long elaborate wedding ceremonies and functions. And, each event was absolutely special in its own way.

The fun-filled mehendi

The mehendi ceremony was a ‘ladies-only’ function, which was beautifully arranged in a banquet hall of a five star hotel. The bride looked simply stunning in her subtle outfit and ‘no jewellery’ look.

What added even more charm to the function were the fun props arranged by the photographer, which the youngsters enjoyed getting clicked with.

The haldi ceremony

The significance of haldi ceremony is to give the bride a natural glow before her marriage. In addition, it is synonymous to fun and merriment. And, Rima’s friends and family members left no stone unturned to make her happy on this special day of her life. With her innocent smile, bright outfit and beautiful accessories, she looked truly charismatic.

The sangeet and garba night

No Indian wedding is ever complete without the dose of dance and music. And, if it is a Gujarati wedding, it cannot be considered complete without a traditional garba dance night. That is why; Rima and Chintan had an action-filled sangeet and garba night. While the pretty bride looked gorgeous in a peach anarkali and nude makeup, Chintan complemented her well in a sophisticated monochrome outfit.

What added all the more charm to the evening was the breathtaking décor of the venue. The couple and the guests enjoyed a lot as they danced to the tunes of traditional Gujarati and Bollywood numbers.

The wedding day

Finally the D-day arrived and the wedding venue said it all about how beautiful the wedding would be. It took place in the grand banquet hall of the YMCA Club. The décor was simple yet enigmatic. With huge chandeliers and white background, it looked absolutely royal. And, the mandap looked fabulous with real orchid decoration.

The beautiful bride looked simply superb in a tri-coloured lehenga, beautiful jewellery, and subtle makeup. Rima, being a natural stunner in front of the camera, posed gracefully for the pictures, which resulted in some really breathtaking shots.

And, how can we forget the bride’s friends on this special day? With their presence on the most special day of her life, Rima’s friends made her feel like a real princess.

Finally, the baraat arrived, and Chintan’s smile simply revealed all about what he was feeling inside. He looked dapper in a royal maroon sherwani, stole and turban teamed up with a beige dhoti.

He was welcomed by his mother-in-law as per the fun-filled Gujarati ritual called Ponkvu. In this, the bride’s mother playfully tries to pull the groom’s nose. On the other hand, there is a lot of resistance from the groom’s side, who try to save his nose.
