Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan, Ali Fazal, Kriti Sanon reminisce their childhood Holi memories!

Holi is one festival which is much awaited and loved by all! Like everyone, Bollywood is all set to celebrate the festival of colours. Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan, Ali Fazal, Taapsee Pannu and Kriti Sanon have shared their Holi plans and they also spoke about their best childhood memory of this festival.

Sharing about her Holi plans, Deepika Padukone said, "I am shooting for Tamasha and Bajirao so we may play Holi on the sets. This year will be a working Holi for me."

She further added spoke about her Holi childhood memory. "Holi has been one of my favorite festivals since childhood. I used to play Holi after coming back from school with my friends in the building." She said. Talking about her favorite food to eat on this festival she said, "Tangy and Spicy, so chaat maybe". She also told which is her favourite Holi song. "I know they are my own songs but I have to admit that Balam Pichkari and Lahu Muh Lag Gaya (RAM LEELA) are my current favourite." She said.

Vidya Balan said she is hoping to play Holi with her friends this year. She further spoke about her best childhood Holi memory saying , "My fondest memory is that of my father filling balloons with water early in the morning . We'd go up to the terrace n throw balloons on each other. Once we were done, the adult Holi would begin. Adult Holi meant rang and mild bhang and dancing in the building compound. My watchman would also help us with buckets of water from the tanks.

When asked her about her favourite Holi song she said, "Rang barse and Shubha Mudgal's Ab Ke Saawan." She also said that her favorite Holi food is Imarti from Sattu in Sindhi society, Chembur.

Talking about his childhood Holi memories Ali Fazal said, "My most memorable Holi has been the time when I had wrapped myself in oil the night before Holi, and gone off to sleep, and as expected, my friends landed up inside my house and colored me up the next morning. In the process they also ended up coloring my room which didn't go down pretty well with my mom. That was one of the most epic Holi's I have been part of. We woke the entire colony up by 630 in the morning. Felt like gangsters at the age of 14. This year I might travel home for Holi or might be shooting in USA."

Taapsee Pannu also spoke about her childhood Holi memories saying, "Every year I was used to celebrating Holi back home with my friends in Delhi. Be it with really nasty colours or with tubs n tubs of water. It used to be fun at that time to throw water balloons on people around but the most memorable Holi was when I gave up playing like that, used organic colours and no water to waste. Celebrated with dry colours and good food. That celebration have me more happiness."

The pretty HEROPANTI, Kriti Sanon actress will be celebrating Holi with her family this year. Recalling her childhood Holi memories she said, "I used to celebrate Holi every year with my sister Nupur and all our friends in our colony's central park. Once we found a broken bath tub on a terrace and filled it up with colour, water and mud and then each person was thrown in turn by turn. We ate pakodas and had thandai and danced on various Holi songs!

"My favourite delicacy for Holi is gujiya. My mom makes the best gujiyas and I can't wait for Holi to eat the Gujiyas, she added. She further told us about her favourite Holi song. "Rang Barse, the universal Holi anthem is my favourite."
