Clint Eastwood's first musical, “Jersey Boys,” just unveiled its first trailer.

The Oscar-winning director's film adaptation of the Tony-winning smash, from Warner Bros., centers on 1950's doo-wop singer Frankie Valli (John Lloyd Young) and his four bandmates as they go from blue-collar rags to pop-music riches.

Christopher Walken co-stars as a mobster in the film, which has a script and book from Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice. Music and lyrics are by Bob Gaudio and Bob Crewe, respectively.

Judging by how many characters address the camera in thick, Jersey accents, it seems that Eastwood's Jersey singers are taking their cues from Scorsese's “Goodfellas.” Let's hope Eastwood's latest effort finds success similar to that of the popular mob drama.

“Jersey Boys” hits theaters June 20. Watch the trailer above.
