Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who will next be seen in the upcoming Bollywood film PIKU, has shot quite a lot of scenes in Kolkata and was also snapped cycling on the streets while shooting. Big B and Kolkata's connection goes a long way and the megastar feels that whenever you feel depressed you should visit the City Of Joy.

At the trailer launch of PIKU, Big B was asked "I did my first job in Kolkata and I stayed there for eight years. I keep on vising there often as I cannot forget the environment there. I keep on telling my co-stars that whenever you are feeling depressed go to Kolkata. The people there are so passionate that they will awaken you. And how many every years I have spent and whatever I have learned there, you might get to see a part of it in PIKU."

"What more should I say, it is always great to go back to a place where you have stayed and worked before. It makes you nostalgic and all the old memories flash in front of you. Because I have stayed in Kolkata for eight years, whenever I go there, I visit the places where I have stayed and where I have worked. My boss, the people whom I use to meet and whom I use to work with, I still visit their places and meet them or call them to my place so the atmosphere is very good." He added.

Further telling us about his special Kolkata connection Big B said, "Like you all must know, I am Kolkata's son-in-law as my wife is a Bengali, so this bond cannot break only."

PIKU also stars Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan in the lead. Directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by NP Singh, Ronnie Lahiri and Shena Rajani, PIKU is set to release on 8th May, 2015.
