Amitabh Bachchan confirms PIKU's release date

PIKU starring megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan in lead roles was supposed to release on April 30, 2015. However, the movie has been postponed to a new date- that of May 8, 2015.
The official handle of PIKU posted on a micro-blogging site, "Piku will release on 8th May 2015. Thank you for the love! Keep it coming as we get ready to bring you the crazy world of Piku."
Deepika Padukone, who changed her name on a micro-blogging site to PIKU wrote, "Friday,8th May,2015. Love, PIKU"
Amitabh Bachchan confirmed the same writing, "T 1788 - 'PIKU ' the film .. Deepika, Irrfan, AB with Shoojit Sarkar director ... confirmed release May 8 by Adi Chopra YRF and Sony .."
An Indian comedy- drama, PIKU is a story about the cute father- daughter relationship.
Directed by Shoojit Sircar, produced by MSM Motion Pictures, Saraswati Entertainment Creations Limited and Rising Sun films and distributed by Yash Raj Films, PIKU is slated to hit the screens on May 8, 2015.
