Julia Montes addresses pregnancy rumors

Julia Montes: Pregnancy rumors are false

Julia Montes has become less visible on TV, not because she left the country to hide her 'pregnancy.'  It's because she has been shooting "Halik sa Hangin" for Star Cinema.

Of course, lagi kaming nag-shoo-shooting (for the movie). Everyday, more than a week, magkakasama kami. So wala pong ganoon. Wala pa nga po na boyfriend,” Julia said at the press conference of the movie on Wednesday, January 14.

Why the rumor?

Julia and costars Gerald Anderson, JC De Vera, Ina Raymundo and Edu Manzano shot the movie in Baguio City.

Julia thinks the pregnancy rumors got stronger because she has not been very active in social media.

Instead of feeling affected, Julia chooses to take the rumor lightly.

“Halik sa Hangin” is Julia’s follow-up to “Ikaw Lamang.”

‘Bagong Julia’

Strong lang yung love kaya siya may love scene,” she said.

She didn’t have inhibitions doing the intimate scene because the story requires it.

“Doon talaga tumatakbo yung na-in love ka at binigay mo lahat.”

Julia admits feeling pressured doing mature roles, although she likes learning more about her craft and her character.

On Pope Francis

Just like most everybody, Julia hopes to see Pope Francis.

“Halik sa Hangin” opens in cinemas on Wednesday, January 28.
