Angelica Panganiban frowns on illegal downloads and pirated CDs of her movie, “That Thing Called Tadhana.”

She took to Twitter to post screenshots of people who watched the currently-showing movie online or through pirated CDs. These people even tagged Angelica and co-star JM de Guzman in their social media accounts.

She told her followers that piracy can cost celebrities their job.

Evils of piracy

She asked for respect and support for the industry.

Nakakalungkot to.. Grabe.”

Some of those who posted screenshots of the movie immediately untagged Angelica after she called out on them.

Tough journey as Mace

“Aba!!! Kayo na,” she posted.

Her performance in “That Thing Called Tadhana” earned Angelica a Best Actress award from the Cinema One Originals Film Festival. She followed it up with the same award, this time from Gawad Tanglaw last Thursday, February 19.

Angelica posted her journey while playing her character Mace.

Ganun lagi yung nangyayari kapag may shooting kami kinabukasan.. Pero pinaka matindi siguro yung last day namin. (That girl!!! 😂) hindi ko pinapansin masyado si jm. Akala yata nilang lahat may attitude ako sa last day namin 😊 pati ang tunay na anthony ng buhay ko, d ko pinapansin.. Hanggang sa natapos namin yung eksena. 12 pages yun direk!@tonet_jadaone hanggang ngayon, bumabaligtad sikmura ko pag naalala ko yung gabing yun. But that particular scene, made me said (sic) yes to be Mace Castillo. I love you Mace!! 😘 til we meet again tyang Mace.”
