Does Angelica Panganiban want to settle down, now that her relationship with boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz is going smoothly?

Feeling ko titigil ako for showbiz sandali at i-eenjoy yung buhay sandali,” Angelica told reporters at the press conference of her movie “That Thing Called Tadhana” on Wednesday night, January 21.

Giddy, excited

The showbiz couple has been together for more than two years, and Angelica hopes she has finally found Mr. Right.

Angelica admits feeling giddy and excited when she and John Lloyd discuss marriage.

She doesn’t want a big wedding and prefers the company of family and close friends instead.

Family event

“Oo naman, haba ng hair. Di ba, ako pala yung mapapangasawahan ni John Lloyd Cruz? Clinaim?,” she said in jest.

The 13th Gawad Tanglaw Best Actress already told John Lloyd what her  ideal wedding proposal would be like.

But while she already told John Lloyd how she wants him to propose, Angelica said the ball is still in his court.

Losing her poise

Angelica thinks she will cry and lose her poise once John Lloyd asks for her hand.

John Lloyd’s reaction

John Lloyd takes Angelica’s hints about a wedding proposal lightheartedly.

“Sila parang natawa noon, parang, ‘Bakit ikaw ang nagsasabi?’ Minsan nagsusukat ako ng singsing. ‘Ay ito pala ang size ko. Yung pinsan niya kasi parehas kami. Sabi ko, ‘Ay parehas tayo ng size,’” Angelica said.
John Lloyd reacts by pretending he didn’t hear a word.

“Pero pinaparinig ko talaga,” Angelica joked.

Winning with Nora Aunor

She’s happy her movie with JM de Guzman, “That Thing Called Tadhana,” which won the Audience Choice award in the Cinema One Originals Festival will be shown nationwide.

The movie also gave Angelica two best actress trophies – one from the Cinema One Originals Festival and the other from Gawad Tanglaw (she shared her trophy from the latter award with Nora Aunor).
