Alleged exes Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra to clash!

Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, who were once said to be in a relationship, would be clashing with each other at the box office. Their HAIDER and MARY KOM would now be arriving together on 2nd October.
"Though they never acknowledged it publicly, there were strong rumours of them being a couple. However as they moved ahead in their career, they also did TERI MERI KAHANI together. Now two years after sharing screen space with each other, Shahid and Priyanka would be encountering a face-off of sorts at the box office once their films hit the screens," informs the source.
Quite a few films have eyed 2nd October for arrival due to the holiday release factor. In fact the other two films looking for the same date have been BANG BANG and PHANTOM, both starring Katrina Kaif. While Saif Ali Khan's PHANTOM has now moved ahead to November, Hrithik Roshan's BANG BANG continues to hang on.
While one waits to see how many films ultimately arrive on this date, the fact remains that HAIDER and MARY KOM are certainly on. For both Shahid and Priyanka these are important films since not just are they playing central protagonists in there but their character names also form the title. Vishal Bhardwaj has based Shahid's part in HAIDER on William Shakespeare's Hamlet while Sanjay Leela Bhansali has carried a vision to present Priyanka as the real life Olympic medalist boxer Mary Kom."
With the two finding each other in the ring, the battle between Shahid and Priyanka would indeed make headlines as their films come closer to release
