ABC's ‘Scandal’ Casts Portia de Rossi in ‘Top Secret’ Recurring Role

Portia de Rossi is joining ABC's “Scandal” in a multiple-episode arc on the upcoming fourth season, a show representative told TheWrap.

In true “Scandal” fashion, the show is keeping the details of Rossi's role under wraps.

The news of Rossi's casting was actually broken by her wife, talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres, on Twitter.

Rossi has held several roles on memorable shows like the Fox/Netflix comedy “Arrested Development,” Fox's legal dramedy “Ally McBeal,” ABC's “Better Off Ted” and FX's “Nip/Tuck.”
